Occipital Neuralgia (nerve pain from the top of the spinal cord into the scalp, especially at the back of the head) is a commonly known neuropathy associated with Chiari, but Chiari can cause Peripheral Neuropathy as well (especially when the Chiari causes a syrinx). Several pathological cofactors and comorbids, such as Tethered Cord syndromes and Spinal Stenosis (both of which are common with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes) can cause Peripheral Neuropathy as well. So we often have multiple issues (all stemming from one general collagen issue) attributing to all the pain we feel.
