An upper cervical angle determined/measured by drawing a line across the posterior (back, or when lying more horizontal, the top) side of the lower clivus and intersecting that line with a line drawn on the posterior side of the axis (2nd cervical vertebra).  If the angle created is less than 135 degrees, it is considered pathological.
