A connective tissue disorder that is said to be a “Collagenopathy, types II and XI.” Stickler Syndrome is characterized by unique facial features, hearing loss, eye anomalies, and joint issues. There is no standard set of signs or symptoms; however, one key indicator is a flattened facial appearance.

Optic disc swelling that is created by increased intracranial pressure. The swelling is usually bilateral (both sides); unilateral (one sided) presentation is considered very rare.
Photophobia
An extreme sensitivity to light; which can often become painful.
Postherpetic Neuralgia
Nerve pain as a direct result of the varicella zoster virus. Typically confined to the skin (dermis), follows an outbreak of shingles (herpes zoster).
